Pupil Premium
Pupil Premium is Government funding additional to the main school funding designed to address the underlying inequalities in achievement between children eligible for free school meals and their peers.
School leaders can choose to spend the money in any way that they feel will help to close the gap in attainment.
As part of the accountability process, the Governors are obliged to publish on our website how we spend the Pupil Premium that has been allocated to us. Please click below to find out more.
Please note the allocation of funding is on a financial year basis and the allocation of provision is on an academic year basis. Planned expenditure may not therefore use the entire pupil premium budget to ensure funding for new children is accessible on a needs basis each September but financial reports do reflect full spending on a financial year basis.
