Macaw Artwork

Year 5 created collages of our class bird - the macaw. 
The children drew their bird on a piece of paper and then they added the recycled element - newspaper. After tearing the strips, the children stuck them on the animal to mimic its feathers. 

Here are some collaged macaws.

Finally, we added vibrant watercolours to the newspaper and painted a leafy background.
