Chester Zoo

On Monday the children in Reception were very excited to go on their Spring Term trip to Chester Zoo.

Prior to the trip we have been learning about different animals that live at Chester Zoo. We decided which animals we would like to see the most and made our own maps to find them! The children used blocks to build zoos, labelling different areas and wrote letters to the zoo keepers. 

The children were extremely well behaved and respectful to others around the Zoo. Below are some photos from the day. The children have come back to school talking about all the animals they saw, which was their favourite and produced some lovely writing about the day.
