At Cuddington our intent is to create a fully inclusive environment where all learners, including those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities, are supported to achieve their full potential. We are committed to ensuring that every individual is valued, respected, and provided with equitable access to a broad, balanced, and ambitious curriculum.

We aim to identify and respond to the diverse needs of our learners through early identification, personalised support, and high-quality teaching that is adaptive and responsive. By fostering a culture of understanding, collaboration, and high expectations, we ensure that barriers to learning are minimised and participation is maximised.

Through strong partnerships with families, staff, and external professionals, we strive to empower learners with SEND to develop independence, confidence, and the skills necessary for lifelong success.

Special Educational Needs and Disabilities is often referred to as SEN or SEND and is coordinated by the school's SENDCo (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Coordinator) Mrs Ducker.

All Local Authorities are required to publish information on 'The Local Offer' about all SEND services they provide, along with details of any eligibility for specialist services. Please find the link below for more information:
